ABOUT ME

After over 20 years teaching various age groups ‑‑ elementary, high school and continuing ed ‑‑ in a variety of settings ‑‑ large classes, small groups and one-on-one ‑‑ I decided to start my own tutoring business to teach the essential skill of reading. 

In 2022 I completed the nationally accredited Orton Gillingham Multisensory Structured Language program at Fairleigh Dickinson University.  While the method is frequently used to teach students with Dyslexia, its techniques benefit all readers.  In addition, I hold a Masters Degree as a Reading Specialist and am certified in the State of New Jersey.
