What I Offer

IN-PERSON TUTORING
Every student learns differently and the needs of families differ, too. Many students benefit from one-on-one, in-person tutoring in a quiet setting. I can accommodate in-person tutoring at a local library or in a student's home.

VIRTUAL TUTORING
I was fortunate to be in the first cohort of scholars to transfer the hands-on, multisensory Orton Gillingham program to a virtual format. As part of the group of trainees who interned during the Pandemic, I was on the front lines of trying different formats, media and activities. We worked out the kinks and became highly skilled at teaching the program virtually, with no loss of learning.

Virtual tutoring offers the convenience of a more flexible schedule, as well as that of learning from home.

SMALL GROUP TUTORING
Students often thrive while learning with their peers! While not as intense as one-on-one learning, small group instruction can be a fun way to maintain or enhance skills, read and discuss a book together, or put on a Readers Theater "production." An ideal group is 3-5 students which can be arranged by you or put together by me, based on availability of similarly leveled students.
